| Introduction | Welcome to my blog! I am Jean Kramer and I have long been interested in American history. In 1999, with my mother’s assistance, I began studying my own family history and genealogy. I soon discovered that much of the history that went into making me who I am revolves around Kossuth County, Iowa, where I was born and raised. I then became involved in both the Kossuth County Genealogical Society and the Kossuth County Historical Society and discovered many fascinating stories that were too good not to share.
