About me

Gender Female
Location Austin, TX, United States
Introduction I'm a 67 year old single grandma residing in central Texas where I've lived for more than 28 years and have deep family roots. I have two grown sons and two grown grandchildren, two sisters, a brother, two nephews, one niece by marriage, and four great-nieces, all scattered about the country.

I'm a licensed pilot (not current just now), licensed ham radio operator, an internet researcher (formerly with Google Answers), a content analyst for BazaarVoice.com, and a freelance editor/writer/researcher.

The name "Byrd" comes from a nickname I've used on many sites, a play on words, me being a pilot, and a name pulled from some genealogical papers. Not very original maybe, but it's stuck with me.

Most importantly, I'm a baptized, confirmed, believing follower of Jesus Christ. Forget religion. I am not religious. I'm just a disciple of Jesus, eager to tell others about Him so they can know Him too, eager to share what I've learned and continue to learn every day about Jesus/God, the Ultimate Reality, the only living God, the One, about His power and grace, His goodness and love, His might and majesty. Amazing, awe-inspiring stuff!
