| Introduction | I am a knitwear designer and lifelong knitter and crocheter. This blog presents a bird's eye view of what goes on in the mind of a designer and what the process is like. I also use the blog to present some new ideas, tutorials, hints and tips, and occasionally to feature some exceptional products. I learned to knit and crochet when I was 4 years old. Later I taught myself to weave, tat, quilt, applique, embroider, felt, and so on. I have exhibited at the Brooklyn Museum and in several New York galleries. My knitted and crocheted jewelry has been published in Larks' Jewelry With a Hook and in 1000 Jewelry Inspirations.
