| Introduction | I'm leaving behind my career in architecture and construction management in Southern Oregon to become a farmer and wannabe vegetarian / vegan chef (how about adequate cook) in Uruguay. The creative side of cooking has taken hold, and I find that cooking tasty and nutritious foods to be as calming and focusing as architectural design has always been for me. I will also be in charge of the planting and stewardship of the food forest, the orchards, the olive grove, and the vineyard on our new property, as the woody plants are my domaine. DiAnna, partner of over 15 years, is leaving behind her business, EarthSong Caregiving, where she utilized her medical training to manage teams of in-home caregivers. She will engage her ecstatic self while exploring the worlds of the native medicinal plants of Uruguay, gardening, sewing, dancing, chanting, drawing, bead work, painting, and... just about anything else that pops into her head. |
