Introduction	My name is Betsy. I love my name. Hated it growing up. It’s short for Elizabeth, which people never really seem to understand. I promise you, I didn’t make it up myself, nor did my parents… Google it! It’s legit. I’m addicted to Starbucks, scrapbooking, and “window shopping” on Etsy. I love reading crafting, home décor, and scrapbooking blogs and putting together projects for our home. I have a new found passion for cooking and photography, and wish I could spend all of my time learning and practicing both things. My husband Kurt and I were married n November of 2010. In November of 2009, we had our first little baby girl, Olivia, who we lost after a very short 3 day NICU stay. Every day, we strive to be people that she would be proud of. I started this blog on the day she was born as a way to communicate her progress to friends and family. It turned in to a grief and loss blog, and the community that I was able to become a part of as a result of that was my saving grace in those very dark days. Now, I blog about a variety of things, but grief and loss will always be a major topic around here.
