| Introduction | It was Miss Day who said that GCH (Grey Coat Hospital) should stand for Generosity, Courtesy & Honour. I've used it as the title for this history blog, as these are the values that she reintroduced to the school in 1874, after many years of meanness, cruelty, and dishonesty on the part of those in charge. These are the values that the school still upholds. |
