Introduction	Jim (aka Edward M. Powers) is a 63 year old man who enjoys the pleasures of life. All my life I have tried new adventures. This is evidenced by my many interests and hobbies. I have worked on the Ocean for NOAA, served as a severe storm spotter, a school board member and board president, birded on Amazon River and the rain forests of Ecuador. All this sandwiched into a thirty-nine year career as a Special Needs instructor with the troubled Kansas City Missouri School District. Before my death, I want to visit the Moon on vacation and see the return of Hailey's Comet.
Interests	Civil War Reenacting, Amateur Radio, Hunting, Fishing, Camping,Stamp Collecting, Birding, Banjo and Dulcimer playing, Scuba Diving, Live Theater, Indoor Soccer, astronomy and the Victorian Age.
