| Introduction | I am owned/loved by 2 Shelties, Kant & Echo. I help train/compete with 2 more Shelties, Hershey & Slick. The BC, PITA, belongs to my daughter. Casey is a house dog! I have had dogs, cats, rabbits, & birds. I enjoyed them all but the dogs are my favs. I didn’t do serious training until I saw agility at the Oregon Fair in Sept 2000; I was in class in Oct. Kant has earned 78 agility titles & many awards. She was the NADAC 2006 16” Pre-Elite Grand Champion. I compete mostly in NADAC & AKC. In 2009 I plan to become a NADAC judge. I love all agility has brought to my life. April ‘04 I took Kant for a herding instinct test & got hooked. Our herding journey has given us 4 titles with RHIT in Oct 2007. I belief 100% herding has helped with our agility success. Thanks to excellent teaching by Lora at Rocking Dog Ranch of respect from the dog & to stock with indirect pressure Kant & I have become a great herding team & Echo & I will soon. I love taking pictures; this blog gives me a place to display some of my photos. I love to scrapbook & dabble in card making, cross stitch, bead work, & quilting. The beach is my favorite place. I love to go camping & look forward to exploring the US. |
