| Introduction | I am currently a junior at Appalachian State University, studying elementary education. I hope to return to my hometown of Matthews, NC (outside of Charlotte) to teach second grade. I've always loved working with children; my mom is a preschool teacher and I enjoyed accompanying her to work on my days off from school. My first job in high school was teaching swim lessons, and to this day I still return to Little Otter Swim School on my university breaks. I am a member of the sorority Alpha Omicron Pi, and I love being part of out sisterhood. |
