About me

Introduction	I am a grad student at Syracuse University and I hope to graduate next May with a MS in Library and Information Science. I will then work as a Library Media Specialist in a high school in the New York City public school system. I worked as an adjunct English lecturer at a community college and as a high school English teacher before deciding to become a librarian. After years of being in the classroom, I wanted some change. I wanted to teach but in a slightly different context and space. Being a librarian allows me to do this, and my English background has benefitted me tremendously since making this move. This is my first attempt at keeping a blog. I hope that my posts are as interesting to you as they are to me. I am constantly learning about new technologies that could help to make my students more information literate, and I will share some of this with you on this blog.
