| Introduction | Wife of my high school sweetheart for 39+ years, follower of Jesus, pastor's wife for 25+ years, Mumsie to 2 beautiful daughters, Grams to 5 boys, a sister, a friend. Home is a wee cottage we built on our wooded acreage. Lover of *chooks*, vintage goods, and cottage gardens. Thrifting and seeking those sweet treasures. Knitting w/ natural fibers. Cherish the simple things of life...good books, cozy fires, the glow of candlelight, a walk on our country lane, the company of kindred spirits. A brisk cuppa tea, a stout cuppa joe. A pot of soup, fresh baked bread. Wool socks and sweaters, lacy things, too. Fresh eggs in my basket, eating straight from my garden. My Home Comfort cookstove, my walk-in pantry filled with the fruits of our labor. Rustic country living is the way for me..but love my femininity! I am an expert of nothing, but interested in much. At this late stage in life ~ just trying to be what He wants me to be.~ |
