| Introduction | I'm a mother of 2, a grandmother of 1 and Dixie's mom. I've been divorced for 13 years and have worked with the State of Georgia for 23 LONG years. My daughter, Lindsay, her husband, Brent and my grandson Davis live in Japan. My son Drew is teaching English in Seoul, Korea. They have left me behind in Dothan, Al. I miss them so and sometimes have a very hard time dealing with having them so far away from home. But my neurotic little dog keeps me busy. She is wonderful! I have pretty much accepted the fact that I stand a better chance of being struck by lightning that finding a husband at my age. My main focus right now it to try and make my paycheck stretch and the return of my children. I've decided that whichever one lives in the coolest place when they come home, is where I'm going. |
