| Introduction | I am a Journalism/Mass Communications major at Kansas State University. Following graduation I plan on entering the field of sports journalism. I spent a year as a sports writer at the K-State Collegian, the daily student newspaper at Kansas State University. Currently I am a sports writer at the Manhattan Mercury in Manhattan, Kan. I served as the beat writer for the Kansas State Volleyball team during the 2009 season, the co-beat writer for the K-State women's basketball team and will serve as the co-beat writer for the K-State baseball team. Covering Big 12 athletics has been an incredible experience and I hope to continue to be involved with the conference in years to come. |
