Introduction	I am interested in all things that promote equity and excellence for English Learners. I have over 20 years experience in ESL teaching and leadership experience and I found my passion for teaching when I started my career as a Peace Corps volunteer in Sri Lanka. I have taught students from diverse language and cultural backgrounds in K-12 settings, and I write for Colorin Colorado on best practices for ELs. As a Professional Development Specialist with WIDA I am fortunate to meet educators across the nation who care deeply about outcomes for ELs and work hard every day to make a difference.
