| Introduction | I am the wife of my adoring and patient husband of 37 years. Ahh, not always heavenly and harmonious, I'm not that easy to live with! Our union has become one of God's wonders that never cease....I am blessed and amazed at the way He has worked in our lives! I have 3 grown daughters, an adopted son in the army, and 7 grandchildren. I work part-time, attempt to grow a great vegetable garden, and love to read. I love to be with people and help wherever I can, eat chocolate with great friends, exchange recipe and ideas for making home-life better, and my favorite thing to do is spend daily quiet time with my best friend Jesus. I want to live my life in such a way that I can be called His friend as well. He is closer to me than anyone else, and helps me to be a better friend to those He puts in my life. I come from a large family of 7 brothers and sisters, am the oldest of the siblings, with many of them being spread out over the country. I have lived in California, and now the last 31 years in the Pacific Northwest. We hope to retire from the daily grind in a few years, waiting to see where He will lead us. |
| Interests | I love gardening, reading, visiting with my daughters and grandchildren. I love studying the bible and various other subjects. Especially pertaining to health and nutrition. I have sailed in the past, done a little sewing and crocheting. I love to walk my 2 mini-dauchsunds, and my husband and I like to ride our biycycles and go camping when the weather permits. We also love to storm-watch at the beach. |
