Introduction I began making wire sculptures in 1998, (inspired by Alexander Calder). My father's folk art furniture inspired me to creat my found object sculptures. He collaborates with me on some of the bigger pieces. I graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Never really did much with my art I was just plain burned out from having to produce daily. Years later, the creative juices started flowing and I began experimenting with different mediums. Still have several mediums I love paper collage, found art sculpture and I dabble in painting. Accepted into the Craftsmen's Guild of Mississippi in 2006 and opened ARTichoke, a gallery with four other artists in 2006, now closed. My work is available at the Mississippi Craft Center (Ridgeland, Ms) and Attic Gallery (Vicksburg, Ms).
