| Introduction | I am empowered and active in the pursuit of justice and human rights for all people. I am biracial (half black and half white) and this defines my world view. My travels to some of the toughest places in the world, from northern Uganda to Congo to South Sudan to Libya to the Syrian border, have made me a witness to the struggles that people face. Peoples' humanity and dignity, no matter where they are from or what they believe, have helped me fight on. My opinions are my own. |
