Introduction	MAKE MORE ART. I love to express my delight in beauty through my art. While contemporary in style, my mixed media paintings, book art and altered images embody an age-old quality: a connection to the arthurian mythology and love of nature that shapes my life. Organic layers of texture and rich colour conceal and reveal fluid lines of calligraphy and shapely letter forms. The use of words awakens a very personal connection to my art. I acquired my artistic knowledge and skills through an amalgam of life experience, workshops, study, practice and extensive research, and am, for the most part, self taught. I teach popular art workshops in my Merrickville Studio and on location for art groups. I’m currently enhancing my online presence by creating a Shopify website and online courses for artists.
