| Introduction | My name is Jean Krevor, and I am a non-traditional college student currently completing the AAS degree that accompanies paramedic training. My plan is to transfer and complete the pre-reqs for either PA or medical school. I've been a paramedic for over three years, and an EMT for nearly seven. Before that, I worked in publishing production, doing layout, design, and proofreading/copyediting. I've done a bit of writing in my time, too; mostly movie and book reviews and the occasional magazine article. I'm newly married to my sweetheart, Jim. We have been friends since we were children (our parents were involved in a historical re-creation society, so we knew each other from those events) but until a recently, we never viewed each other as anything other than good friends. Life took us in several directions, and a few years ago, he found my writing on the web and dropped me an email to catch up. Emails led to phone calls, phone calls led to weekends together, and soon he moved to NYC to be with me. We got married this September. I'm looking forward to this Shakespeare class, and enjoy sharing insights and opinions about the plays and history surrounding them with others. |
