Introduction	DH and I met after his first wine harvest in Sonoma, Ca. I had been mildly obsessed with both the preparing of and partaking in meals of all kinds for some time. A wine-maker in the making and an amateur chef. What could be more fitting? Now here we are in East Bay as of New Year's Day 2011, married since 2012. Together, we make Chardonnay from high elevation, out of the way vineyards for Trail Marker Wine Company. Butterdate is our experiment in food and wine and writing.
