| Introduction | Thanks for viewing this blog. I began it to keep a commitment to show up for myself as a writer once a week. Topics include Birth, Death and the stuff in between. As a Trauma Specialist I listen to the Health in the system and mirror it back, so the body comes to recognize coherence within. Self-regulation begins with awareness of the sensations of activation and settling in the nervous system. Using Cranio Sacral Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, Birth Trauma Resolution Therapy, Yoga Therapy and several other modalities, I work with babies who have had a difficult entry into the world, kids of all ages, adults and those on their way out of this life. I love my work and never get bored! |
