| Introduction | I am a daughter of the KING, a wife, mom of 5 and a massage therapist. I also have the privilege of leading music for the 1st to 6th graders on Wednesday nights (they don't seem to mind my singing). :o) I love being Mark's wife and best friend. I am extremely blessed. My husband is funny, and shows me he loves me in hundreds of ways. In fact, I think you could even say he spoils me. :o) One of my favorite things about Mark is how he has been such an encourager to my faith. He's a strong believer of Christ and a great father. In fact, it's watching how he treats our daughter that has been such a healing balm to my soul. I look at their relationship and know that God had intended for me to experience the same thing. |
| Interests | I love studying the bible, journaling, reading (although I'm not very fast), the ocean, traveling, eating at interesting restaurants, photography and Christian music! I love God. I love how he has pursued me, grabbed a hold of me and has never let go. I love how he has grown me through both good and tough times. I am so glad he doesn't let me get away with anything; & I especially love how his Holy Spirit uses people, circumstances, and His wonderful Word to speak to me. I love the sense of humor God has, how he can bring me to my knees, and how he can make me laugh my head off. It is my greatest desire to know, love & honor God above all else. |
| Favorite Movies | I really liked the Lord of the Rings series, Christmas movies, & Steel Magnolias. Veggie Tales, Narnia, National Treasure, & Hitch Mostly I like movies with happy endings. Kids movies. :o) Plus, I really enjoy watching Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, especially with my family. |
| Favorite Music | I am currently into listening to: Rush of Fools, Storyside B, Starfield, Barlow Girls, John Waller, Joel Engle, Brit Nicole, Chris Tomlin, Matthew West, Downhere, Big Daddy Weave, MercyMe, Casting Crowns, Day of Fire, December Radio, Falling up, Group 1 Crew, Jeremy Camp, Krystal Meyers, Mark Shultz, Lincoln Brewster, The Swift, Steven Curtis Chapman, & Aiesha Woods Just to name a few... |
| Favorite Books | Anything by Beth Moore, & Chip Ingram. Dee Brestin's "The Friendships of Women", "Love & Respect", "Knowing God" by JI Packer, Richard Swenson's "Minute of Margin", Henri Nouwen's "Life of the Beloved", Chuck Missler's "Cosmic Codes", Mark Buchanan's "The Holy Wild", John Elderedge, Philip Yancy, Max Lucado, John Ortberg, and Kim Meeder. Oh and the Babylon Series by Lehaye and Jenkins, and books by Joel Rosenberg. And of Course the Bible--NIV is my favorite but I've got about all of them. :o) Spoiled, spoiled, spoiled. I'm very thankful for the gift of reading these wonderful books and really know how blessed I am. |
