| Introduction | Hello, I’m Emily Colliflower from Westminster, MD and I’m a freshman at Penn State majoring in print journalism with a minor in economics. Sports obsessed would probably the best words to describe me although I am a person who just likes to learn. A nerd basically. I have played lacrosse and field hockey all my life and I was the starting goalie on my high schools undefeated state champion field hockey team my senior year. I bleed purple and black, I love the Washington Capitals, and even though I have never been a huge baseball fan I always cheers for the O’s. My hope is to eventually have a career in sports journalism so I can talk about sports all the time and actually have people listen to me instead of just nod as if they know what I am talking about.
