Introduction	I am a self-proclaimed hobby collector. Show me a pattern, instrument, recipe, or sport, and I WANT it. I may not master everything I try (as noted by the dust accumulating on my guitar and the half-full tote of Mary Kay supplies in my closet), but my patience, creativity, and passion for trying new things have transformed me into a type of “master crafter”. I’m more of a “the journey is the destination” type of girl anyway. My company, Tía Mila (Aunt Emily), started out as a small bakery. I made wedding cakes, sold products at local farmers’ markets, and succeeded in fattening up my family and closest friends. As I expand my services as far as my customer’s minds can reach, blogging about my experiences seems like the next logical step. Now all I have to do is keep this blog from ending up in the “Oh, that? Yeah, I’ve tried it…” pile in my closet.
