| Introduction | Sergey Vasilievich Arkhipov is an orthopedic surgeon with a scientific degree, currently working as an independent researcher based in Finland. His expertise encompasses hip joint disorders, orthopedic surgery, the history of medicine, and Biblical studies. In 2013, he defended a doctoral thesis focused on an overlooked cause of hip osteoarthritis: pathology of the ligamentum teres. His extensive research in this field has led to the development of innovative joint designs, as well as original surgical and diagnostic techniques. A holder of patents, he has published several scientific monographs and peer-reviewed articles.
