Introduction I am a Christian. An admirer of Mr. Spurgeon, I intend this blog to (1) provide a format for my incidental writing, (2) provide a venue for thoughtful, young Christian writers to exercise their intellectual and rhetorical gifts, (3) create a context for provocative ideas to which my blog readers may respond, and (4) employ Spurgeon's love for cigars as a metaphor to remind Christians, especially Calvinist Christians, to "think outside the [cigar] box."
