| Introduction | I was born in London and lived in Kent for more than 30 years. Then I realized that I didn’t want to spend the rest of my life in someone else’s basement (albeit a very nice basement) so I moved to Yorkshire, in search of my own bathroom. (Yes, of course they have bathrooms in Kent. But not in any flats that I could afford.) You can take the woman out of chaos, but you can’t take chaos out of the woman. I’m well-washed, but still untidy; my house is full of bits of paper, empty coffee mugs and dust. There are five books and a Kindle on my bedside table, all of which I’m part way through reading. There are four books in my head, all of which I’m part way through writing. My first book, Lost Prinsipels, was published in April 2014. |
