| Introduction | Well, I'm Zube. Rhymes with booby. Bermuda born, Jersey bred, and Colorado bound. Not 'bound' in the sense that that's where I'm headed. Bound in the sense that I'm bound here by an undying love for the mountains. I will always and forever be a Jersey Girl, though. I’m mom to two of the most awesomest kids on the planet. It took a few miscarriages, uterine drama, and other heartbreak to get there but they’re worth it. I try not to lose myself in motherhood, hence this blog. It is my space. Though I do reserve the right to wax on about my kids now and again. Also, many moons ago I was raped, got pregnant, and had an abortion. Which resulted in me disassembling my tent and leaving Pro-Life Camp for good. Interestingly, multiple miscarriages made me upgrade my tent at Camp Pro-Choice to a cabin. I hide nothing about that experience. You’ve been warned. Last but not least, if you're not fond of sentences ending in prepositions, the F-Bomb, and random and chaotic use of ellipses, stop here...This blog is not for you. |

When you open your eyes underwater, do you ever worry that you'll drown?
I don't open my eyes underwater because I wear contacts. I only worry about drowing when I'm all melancholy and beer is looking really good.
