Introduction I'm a height-challenged thirtysomething (this just happened and I'm still in shock!) who jumps aimlessly between projects while focusing obsessions on too many things. This can benefit you in a multitude of ways. But it means nothing for me...it makes me a renaissance woman in an age of specialization.
Interests knowing how to do anything bigger greener faster better more, finding shade, developing perfect skin, knitting, hiking, swimming, running, my ipod/zen/music listening device, supporting public libraries, reading to children, reading to myself, reading to mammals reptiles amphibians or inanimate objects, cinephile, aquaphile, astrophile, agoraphobe.
Favorite Movies The Dark Knight, Hiroshima Mon Amour, Kill Bill, El Mariachi, The Mummy, The Mummy Returns, Desk Set, His Girl Friday, Notorious, Moonstruck, Key Largo, To Have or Have Not, Bringing Up Baby, The Lover, Harold & Maude, Now Voyager, Pi, The Matrix, Cowboy Bebop (complete episodes), Strangers on a Train
Favorite Music Liz Phair, M. Ward, Miles Davis, Tina & the B Sides, Brenda Weiler, Charlie Parker, Ryan Sutter (not that guy from reality TV), Flogging Molly, Etta James, John Coltrane, Tori Amos, Billy Holiday, Nina Simone, Hank Rollins, Feist, Ani Difranco, Social Distortion, Amy Winehouse, both Wainwright siblings, Indigo Girls, Ella Fitzgerald, too much indi/opera/jazz artists to list
Favorite Books The Itty Bitty Book Light (this should count as a book because it comes in a book-like package and I use it more than any other book-like thing), The Tao Te Ching, Like Water for Chocolate, Wide Saragasso Sea, Lessons from a Lipstick Queen, A is For Apron, Hidden Moon, Pirates Don't Change Diapers, The Silver Spoon, The Alchemist, By the River Piedra I Sat Down and Wept, The Host, The Passion of Mary Magdelene, Mistress of Spices, East of the Sun and West of the Moon, Away, the Hakawati

All of the phone numbers have fallen out of your address book. Whose number do you look for first and why?

I happen to own sweaters that stretch down to my feet (ok, they're cashmere nightgowns)...they're black & grey. I'd toss on a silver chain belt or a shiny patent red one. But part of me wants a flashy peacock-feather covered belt to really make a statement.
