| Introduction | I can’t remember a time when I didn’t write. As a child I loved making up stories, and when my children were younger I used to write for them and their classes at school. I didn’t imagine I would become a published author, and it has been a wonderful journey since my first novel, The Bad Apple, was published in 2004. I was thrilled to discover that I’ve become one of the top 250 most-borrowed library authors in the UK, and would like to thank all of you who have taken out my books over the last few years!
