Introduction Yeachin Tsai is an artist, Chinese translator, writer, and meditation instructor. She has translated a few Buddhism books into Chinese, including the translation of the Sakyong Mipham’s “Ruling Your World”, “Running with the Mind of Meditation”, and “The Shambhala Principle”; also, “Not Always So”, “Branching Streams Flow in the Darkness” by Shunryu Suzuki Roshi. She edited the Chinese edition of the Sakyong’s “Turning the Mind into an Ally”, Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche’s “Shambhala: Sacred Path of the Warrior”, “Cutting Through Spiritual Materialism”, Lady Diana J. Mukop’s “Dragon Thunder – My life with Chogyam Trungpa”, and “Blazing Splendor: The Memoirs of Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche.” She studied from renowned Zen Master Sheng Yen and the Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche for years. She lives and works as an artist in the Capital Region of New York. 蔡雅琴 (Yeachin Tsai),藝術工作者,國立台灣師範大學美術系學士,紐約市立大學布魯克林學院藝術碩士。她曾擔任《人間雜誌》攝影與採訪記者,法鼓山《人生雜誌》、《法鼓雜誌》編輯,並翻譯了薩姜.米龐仁波切所著的《統御你的世界:適合現代生活的修心六法》、《跑步之心:同時鍛鍊身與心的禪跑 》、《香巴拉原則:喚醒人性的本初善 》,以及鈴木俊隆禪師的 《事情並非總是如此:禪的真義》、《坐在石頭上說石頭禪:鈴木俊隆禪師〈參同契〉開示》。此外並特約校編了多本有關「香巴拉」法教、包括邱陽創巴仁波切的著作。她先後追隨聖嚴法師與薩姜米龐仁波切,研習佛法經年,現居紐約州,為香巴拉中心禪修指導老師、香巴拉國際翻譯委員之一,並多次擔任薩姜.米龐仁波切的中文口譯。
