| Introduction | Hi! Welcome to The Pause, a blog that explores the second act of life. I was One Busy Momma, and will always be a busy momma,but life has changed a bit for me. I am now a member of the Sandwich Generation - as so many of us in our forties and fifties are.I am getting older along with everyone else. I am struggling with this second act - what do I DO now that my kids are more independent, how do I cope with my parents as they enter their final act of life, what fresh hell will menopause bring now that her sister Peri is moving out, why do my eye bags have eye bags ? I have so many questions and am searching for answers. I have decided to head into this challenging time in my life by looking for the humor these new challenges bring. God knows we all need a laugh from time to time! So, I invite you to come along for the ride as I navigate the second act of my life. Grab a glass of wine, put on your cozy socks and your bedside fan and walk into the chaos with me! |
