| Introduction | Hi, I’m Teacher Lindsay, and my vision for Lindsay’s Little Owls Preschool is to create a joyful learning environment that is academically stimulating, fun, and fosters creativity. I believe in the power of play and will help teach a foundation of basic skills such as literacy, math, science, physical education, music, and art all through dramatic play. I echo the words of Dr. Barbara Willer of the National Association for the Education of Young Children, "Your 3- or 4-year-old will learn the fundamental building blocks of reading, writing, math, and science, as well as how to interact with teachers and classmates... [But] the overarching goal of any preschool should be to help a child feel good about himself as a learner to feel comfortable in a school-like setting." Lindsay’s Little Owls Preschool will nurture your child’s self-confidence and self-esteem and strive to help give them the best start possible on their lifelong journey of learning. |
