Introduction	I am a mother of two wonderful human beings and a grandmother to THE best granddaughter on the planet. My husband and I live in the boonies on a makeshift homestead; We live simply by choice. I like the privacy, security and freedom of living away from the city. I respect the natural world and hold it in high regard. I suppose I am politically more conservative than liberal (especially in fiscal matters), but I considerate myself a moderate libertarian. I have always been a little different in the way I think about things. While I am not religious, I do hold spiritual beliefs and adhere to a common morality of the world’s major religions.
Interests	Gardening, Nature, Camping, Fishing, Canoeing, Primitive Skills, Astronomy, Trivia, Homesteading, Genealogy, Painting, Drawing, Traveling, Science and anything that is way out on the fringe of science. I like Survivor, The Amazing Race, MMA/UFC, Boxing, Pro Football, Formula One (Go Kimi!) and Sci/Nature programming.
Favorite movies	Mostly dramatic stuff...the 1980's had a lot of great movies.....a few comedies...but never horror movies or scary stuff.
Favorite music	Rock, Classical, Celtic, 90's Alternative, even Hawaiian music appeals to me..pretty much everything but rap and hip hop
Favorite books	I'm a non-fiction kind of girl.

Which do you prefer and why: whittling with soap or whistling with wood?

I used to whittle soap crosses-Celtic crosses. I definitely am a soap whittler, can't whistle worth a damn anyway.
