Introduction	Hi, I'm Kate and I'm addicted to PR (public relations for the non-practitioners). The last 4 years of my life have been a whirl-wind (going to college, making new friends, meeting my college sweetie, writing a thesis, classes, working, having a life) but I've come out of it fairly certain that PR is my passion and something I could enjoy doing everyday for a good long while. On April 1st, 2010, I got offered an internship at one of the top Boutique PR Agencies in the country. So I'm off to, where else- New York City, to prove myself in this field that I love (did mention I live in Missisippi? So yea, I'm over the moon for the chance to get away :). So, this is my journey down the PR-Runway. I'm confident there will be up's and downs; mess-up and stand-up moments. But I'm also confident that whatever stumbling blocks land in my path, I'll pick myself back up and keep walkin. Stand Straight. Deep Breath. Smile. Here goes nothin...
