The first time you had your shoes taken off - how surprised were you to see that you still had toes?
Moderately...The only time I can clearly remember taking my shoes off when I was young was when my mom was taking me to pre-school. I was desperately trying to tie them myself, and my mom leaned over to appease my whining, and WHAM. We hit a mail-box.
