| Introduction | All of my work is created using copper and brass sheet, patina, and other elements such as gold and silver leaf, sterling silver sheet, and handmade paper. I hand work the metal using hammers, burnishers, punches, scribes, textured steel plates, and wood blocks. Many tools I hand make. After raising, sinking, and stretching the metal into the shape I am looking for it is then cleaned and numerous patinas are applied, drying between layers, until the finished effect is achieved. contact: jrwaggener@gmail.com |
