| Introduction | I am what some may call "a student of the human condition", or "guy who stands by to watch life unfold before him". I do live a life that I am content with, yet some may characterize it as boring, but when they pay my bills they can criticize my "lack of interest". I enjoy learning outside of a formal educational setting, so I am known to crack open a book on occasion. I am also known to pull an all night partying riff, wake up at 3 pm the next day and go out the next night. (okay it's been like six years since I've done that, but the point is that I am capable of it.) I also love to watch movies of any kind, but my true favorite genre is comedy. Behind that is drama and then horror. I also love to discuss some of life's "big questions" religion, politics and everything in between. |

| Favorite Movies | Too many to name ALL of them, but just a few are: ANCHORMAN, EMPIRE STRIKES BACK, DAZED AND CONFUSED, WAKING LIFE, SAY ANYTHING, NAPOLEON DYNAMITE, ALMOST FAMOUS, and way too many to list here. |
| Favorite Music | Yet again, a can of worms to open up, as the best way to describe my taste is "eclectic". I enjoy: NIN, METALLICA, TOBY KEITH, STATLER BROTHERS, THE FOUR TOPS, TEMPTATIONS, SNOOP DOGG, ISAAC HAYES (BEFORE HE WENT NUTS), GUSTAVE MAHLER, RICHARD WAGNER...pretty much anything interesting. |
| Favorite Books | I would love to say that I read some of the most celebrated works of our day, but I have only read a handful of what some would consider "great". I love THE GRAPES OF WRATH, BLACK HAWK DOWN, FOR WHOM THE BELL TOLLS and THE THINGS THEY CARRIED. I also like to read poetry, but mostly I find collections rather than one book from one author. |
