| Introduction | I was diagnosed with Chronic Lyme Disease in October 2011. Along with Lyme, I am also suffering from Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Candida, and Leaky Gut. Since I've been so sick, I've lost my ability to work. I'm currently fighting my insurance company for short term disability. Even though I am having a hard time right now, there are Lyme patients that are worse off than I am. Lyme is a very serious and deadly disease. One that needs to be treated correctly and adequately. That won't happen in this country without Lyme awareness. I pray that this blog will help further Lyme awareness efforts. There is always hope. |
