Introduction	I am 36 years old, married with 2 children; ages 1 and 5. I grew up competing in sports my entire life, specifically endurance races. When I was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma in Feb '09, I knew I had to think of my treatments as a marathon. I am taking it one day at a time; gritting my teeth through the rough laps and keeping my spirits up throughout it all because in the end, I know I will win.
Interests	Mountain biking, marathon swimming, x-country skiing (although it's been a while!)and writing.
