Introduction Douglas is a Lecturer at the University of Cape Coast (UCC) Ghana, who teaches mathematics to both mathematics students and mathematics pre-service teachers. He has an undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Education, mathematics (UCC, Ghana); Masters degree in Applied Mathematics (University of Kaiserslautern, Germany) and currently working on a research project leading to a PhD in Educational Science and Technology at the faculty of Behavioural Sciences- Curriculum Design and Educational Innovation department at the University of Twente (UT), Netherlands. His current research focuses extensively in the area of technology integration in teacher education in Ghana. Particularly, he has great ambition to improve the teaching and learning of mathematics in Senior High Schools (SHS) classrooms through the innovative use of ICT’s. In this blog, he shares his thoughts and experiences about improving mathematics teaching in general and ICT integration in teaching mathematics. Conference papers, abstract of articles and reports of studies undertaken in Ghana to integrate ICT in teaching mathematics are also posted here.
