| Introduction | Proud Mother of 4 sons, 3 daughters(son's wives), 17 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren= As the good book says, MY CUP IS OVERFLOWING. I retired in 2010 and began Karen's Quilting. Just 10 years ago,my mother encouraged me to take a quilt class. I will NEVER forget the thrill I felt holding my first completed quilt. Since then, I have made each family member a special quilt of their own. (some won ribbons at the fair) Now, I teach that same (deceptively easy!) Star Quilt to others, who have a yearning as I did- but dont know where to start. For a small fee, I help them co-ordinate THEIR colors and fabrics for their quilt. We shop, cut, iron and sew it all together. I supply space, supplies, equipment and time. When the top is completed, I offer to quilt it on my Gammill Long Arm Machine. They now have created a beautiful, custom, designer-quality quilt. Call me today, and it will be my pleasure to help you create an amazing memory of your own. |
