| Introduction | Steve is participating in his third Dakar Rally as a member of the Robby Gordon Motorsports/ Speed Energy Hummer team. Steve is originally from Port Orchard, Washington, and and over the past twenty years has lived in Tracy, California with his wife and two daughters. Steve began riding motorcycles at the age of five. His riding roots trace back to the woods of the Pacific Northwest. He is a four time National Class Champion of the Best in the Desert Racing Series. He has participated in various off-road racing series' including WORCS, SCORE,Best in the Desert, AMA, District 36, OTMX, and numerous 24-hour endurance races. Steve is looking forward to this new chapter of his life, and is ready to embrace all of the challenges that lie ahead.
