| Introduction | Friends of Linden Animal Shelter (FOLAS) is an all-volunteer, non-profit animal rescue group that was formed in 2000 to address the stray and abandoned pet population in the City of Linden Animal Control. Beyond that, FOLAS is dedicated to finding lifelong, committed and loving homes for many deserving animals that have found themselves without homes or who are in danger of losing their homes. We strive to find adoptive homes, other rescues or sanctuary situations for these former pets regardless of their age or breed. We promote spay/neuter of all companion animals and strive to educate the public on the importance of sterilization. |
