The first time you had your shoes taken off - how surprised were you to see that you still had toes?
One time I was trying to start the lawn mower. I put my foot on the mower for leverage. As I pulled the cord, my foot slipped under. There was a cut through my shoe and sock, but it missed my foot itself. How close is that?
