Introduction | Cedrick May is an Associate Professor of English at The University of Texas at Arlington. His works include essays on African-American Literature and reports on political activism. In addition to his work in early African-American literature and religious studies, Cedrick explores the pedagogical uses of multimedia productions in the humanities. His forthcoming book entitled Evangelism and Resistance in the Black Atlantic, 1760-1835, will be out June 2008.
