Introduction	We live on the North-East fringe of Melbourne, Australia, on a hilly property of 24 acres, mostly treed with native gums. We have plenty of bird life, plus kangaroos and the odd echidna or wombat. I have just retired from teaching (reading Intervention for the last 13 years), but I still volunteer as a guitar tutor locally and I am devoting more time to family history.
