Introduction	Md Tawkir Ahmed is a transport researcher. He is currently pursuing Masters in Transportation Engineering at Tongji University. His research interest includes expressway/freeway safety, traffic operations, intelligent transportation systems (AV, CAV, and ADAS). Key arears of expertise/interests include highway/expressway/freeway design, real-time traffic status prediction, transport network design and modeling, big data analytics, statistical modeling and machine learning/deep learning/ deep reinforcement learning applications in traffic engineering, traffic simulation and modeling, connected and autonomous vehicles, intelligent transportation systems, operational effects of geometrics, and access management.
