| Introduction | Welcome to my world, here in the Land of Oz. I am a stay-at-home mom with a beautiful first grade daughter that we adopted from China. I am also a very proud parent to a wonderful young man, who is a freshman at KU. The hubby and I are coming up on our 25th Anniversary. We have started down a new road of healthier eating and weight loss and thought we might be able to help or inspire others. Along the way I will be sharing some of our hobbies and ideas in photography, gardening, nature, reading, and household projects. I am also a scrapbooker, stamper, and crafty chick (or at least I enjoy shopping for the paper and supplies). The hubby works for the National Weather Service and is an avid golfer. We enjoy time together at our church and with our family and friends. I am looking for all the gifts life has to offer and also what I can give to others as inspiration. I am learning that many times in life it is our attitude about things that matters most of all. I am growing in how I look at the world physically, mentally, and spiritually.
