Introduction I am a wife to the best husband ever :)I am a mother of 3 beautiful girls who we have chosen to homeschool. There was a point in time that we were devastated by an autism diagnosis. We simply did not have the understanding that we have today. If you have recently received an autism diagnosis for your child, I encourage you to take every opportunity to see the beauty in your child's incredible mind. It's okay to be scared, but if you open your heart and mind, you will find that you and your child can learn a lot from each other. The main difference between our girls and neurotypical children is that they have to be taught what comes natural to other kids. But they CAN be taught. Some people assume that if a child has autism, they can’t do certain things. WRONG! These girls are gifts to our family. They are extremely intelligent and I know that they will do big things in life. THey have taught us patience and understanding…we are better because of them. We hope you can relate to our journey and find comfort in our experiences :) **written by an Aspie Mom**
